Why is it so hard to talk to families? More to the point, why don't families want help they know they need?
1 family:
1 Father (30 years old)
1 Mother (also 30)
1 Son (9)
1 Son (7)
1 Daughter (2)
Income:
1 Father who works (Mother stays at home with the daughter)
Maybe 30-40,000 a year. Probably less.
Expenses:
1 Small house/apartment
3 Kids
Food, clothes, car, health insurance...
Future Expenses:
3 College Tuition
2 Retirements
Solution:
Has heard of the benefits of Life Insurance and liked them, but decided to "do research" and "look into it".
Benefits of GIUL:
Guaranteed 6.8% intrest the first year, no less than 0-1% all other years with a cap of 14% during top years.
Current plan for raising money for future expenses:
1 401k with less than $5,000 in it that will lose money with stocks.
That's it.
Oh wait, saving money in the Bank which gains 0.28% interest a year minus taxes.
Why do people make life so challenging??? If you're in a relationship and you have kids to look after why aren't you kind of focused or planning your finances a little better, or at least taking financial advice when it's given to you.
Ugggghhhhhzzzzz....
