Post-Rest Revelations

I finally got some rest and chilled out while dog sitting/house sitting for someone.

It didn't help.

I realized rest wasn't really what I was looking for. It was good, and it helped get me more in touch with God. It also led to more understandings about life, reality, and the past. But rest alone isn't what I need.

I've reached a point where I fully understand we're in a rat-trap on Earth. Like ants in a clear box with sand that don't realize they're not roaming freely. And freedom is the greatest part of it.

I look around and I think: What's the point of any of this? Not to say that there's no point to us or the Earth, but the way we have things set up is defiantly backwards and cruel. We're meant for more. And there is no point to 80% off the nonsense we waste our time and lives doing.

And when you see the big picture understanding of it all you wonder, "Where do I fit in to all of this? How does God fit in to all of this when everything we do is out of alignment and at-odds against God?"

I just know that things are meant to change, which is why we're meant to feel out-of-place and unbelonging to these circumstances.

And I wish I could lay things out more plainly to explain what's got me to this perspective, but as I wrote in a previous blog I can't. Part of me doesn't trust -and for good reason, and the other part says it's still not the right time.

But it is good to know there's more. At least I have that. I just don't know where I'm supposed to be or what I'm supposed to do in the face of a world I'm currently at-odds with. That we all are.

For now:

I need to make peace with our past history -All of it the world over for centuries and millennia, including what we've been ignorant to because we assumed we were better and knew more than past civilizations.

And I need to make peace with current history. All of it.

Then maybe the way for the future will bleed into the present.

    1. Hi Diwaker! The work you do sounds amazing and I'm always inspired by people who use God's influence in the world to help people -especially those in vulnerable situations like poverty. Right now there's no way I could afford to come out, but I appreciate you reaching out and hope you connect to more people in this way. :)
