The "7 Wonders"...

So I consulted Wikipedia and...

Accordin to the Ancient World, the 7 Wonders were:

1. The Pyramids of Giza
2. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon
3. The Statue of Zeus at Olympia
4. The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
5. The Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus
6. The Colossus of Rhodes
7. The Lighthouse of Alexandria/ The Ishtar Gate

Clearly the "Ancient people" were a little bias towards Greece and Rome.

The Medievel World's 7:

1. Stonehenge
2. The Colosseum
3. The Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa
4. The Great Wall of China
5. The Porcelain Tower of Nanjing
6. Th Hagia Sophia
7. The Leaning Tower of Pisa/ The Taj Mahal/ The Cairo Citadel/ Ely Cathedral/ Cluny Abbey

Clearly they were a little less decisive than the Ancient peeps...

According to The Modern U.S.A. :

2. CN Tower
3. The Empire State Building
4. The Golden Gate Bridge
5. The Itaipu Dam
6. Delta Works in the Netherlands
7. The Panama Canal

Clearly a little bias towards U.S. and Building Structures...

The 7Wonders Foundation:

1. The Great Wall of China
2. The Petra in Jordan
3. Christ the Redeemer in Brazil
4. Machu Picchu
5. Chichen Itza
6.The Colosseum
7.The Taj Mahal/ The Great Pyramids of Giza

Well they're a little more well-rounded...

3. The Polar Ice Caps
4. The Marine National Monument in Hawaii
5. The Internet
6. The Mayan Ruins
7. The great Migration in the Serengeti/ The Grand Canyon

The Internet??? Really? I mean, Polar Ice Caps is pushing it, but the Internet?! ............. wow...........

4. Mount Everest

Hmmm...

Well, it looks like I'm going to have to compile my own list. I'm going to focus on the Wonders that aren't as well known -Sorry Grand Canyon and Great all of China (We get it, you really didn't like invaders).

    Clearly a California girl...lol...rain is a rare occurence around here.

    Interesting putting your own brain up there. Hmmm. Conceited much? =)

    I think the original 7 Wonders were the best. I mean, we can't do what they did back then WITH our technology. Let that roll around your mind for a bit.
