First off, you make it too easy to dislike you sir.
Secondly: You can be pro-life all you want. Nobody is Against people being pro-life. It is when they are "pro" Taking the Rights of Women away that we run into issues.
My stance is: If you're pro-life then find POSITIVE ways to Encourage women to keep their children. For example, one of the main reasons women abort is they cannot AFFORD to have a baby financially. Why not get some of your campaign money together and start a non-profit that gives financial aid to women who can't afford to have their children???
Another issues is the social stigma of calling women who have children out of wedlock "whores". Maybe you can start another non-profit that works as a Support Group for women who are unexpectedly pregnant so they aren't left so alone in this world.
Another issue is Women are (or according to you "should be") forced to have children, but the MEN who contributed to that life existing hold no responsibility to the infant whatsoever. Maybe placing more emphasis on Male contribution to the Female you are trying to force to have the child might help.
Thirdly: No one is against Straight People being married. "Traditional marriage" as you call it is fine... you know expect for where issues of domestic violence are concerned.
No one is bringing any harm to straight marriage or attempting to end it. You can be in favor of straight marriage all you want -no one will take it from you.
Gay Marriage (and gay people in general) on the other hand has struggled for a while. Gay marriage is at risk of being taken away.
If these 2 kinds of marriages were animals, Straight Marriage would be a dog at home safe with a family and Gay Marriage would be a rhino wandering the African plains about to be shot.
Saying you are Against Gay Marriage is essentially saying you do NOT Support Gay Relationships which IS saying you are Against Gay People which does in fact make you Homophobic or Anti-Gay. Duh.
The people who are always against "Political Correctness" are always Racist, Misogynistic, Bigoted, Homophobic, Hateful, Ignorant people who want to say Racist, Misogynistic, Bigoted, Homophobic, Hateful, Ignorant things without being held ACCOUNTABLE.
As a President you HAVE to represent and support THE PEOPLE of the country you serve.
The President can't be Against people of other Races. He has to represent them and uphold their rights and freedoms.
The President can't be Against Women. He has to represent them and uphold their rights and freedoms.
The President can't be Against people of other Religions. He has to represent them and uphold their rights and freedoms.
The President can't be Against people of other Orientations and Sexual Identities. He has to represent them and uphold their rights and freedoms.
The President can't be Against people of other financial standings -especially the Poor. He has to represent them and uphold their rights and freedoms.
In conclusion: Ben Carson is NOT a president and never could be because he does not seem to respect of care for the people he would be seeking to represent. You can't just represent the people you like in a country.
KINGS tried that. Kings paid favor to only the wealthy in power and you know what happened? The STARVING POOR rebelled and went away to start a new nation founded on principles assuring their Civil Liberties would be upheld by their chosen leader.
