Thoughts for 2/08/12

Part1

"Atheism turns out to be too simple. If the whole universe has no meaning, we should have never found out it has no meaning" -C.S. Lewis.

I mention CS Lewis a lot when I mention Athiests who have gone in search to prove Christianity has no founding and then after doing researched became wll known Christians themselves.

I think of it this way: If there is no God or there is no afterlife or no real meaning or purpose to life that's part of a grander design -Why do we spend so much time wondering, thinking, and worrying about those things? From the beginning of man there is no period in human history when they haven't pondered what life is about. Ancient tribes who were ased solely on survival found mening in nature and the cycles of life and death that occur among all living things.

Every civilization has always wondered: Where do we come from and why are we here?

More importantly is the scientific, biological, and universal truth that everything comes from a SOURCE. And at some point you have to wonder what the source of all life is. Between the complexities of man, nature, life, death, and the stars at some point it dawns on you that there is someting to it all. They are all connected. Out of all the planets in the solar system, thos one just happened to have everything right at the rit time to produce and sustain life. We just happened to have spirituality throughout every civiliaztion. At no point was there ever an all-atheist society that believed this is it and there is nothing more.

And how all of this can be called coincidence when coincidence after coincidenceafter coincidence occur in every field of science and understanding of the earth and the universe...

At some point you realize: Atheists are just people without faith holding onto denial while fearing the unknown. Just because it is unknown doesn't mean it isn't there.

Part 2

Water and Earth are "Negative" zodiac signs. They are:
More likely to listen,
Less likely to speak,
More likely to accept,
Less likely to judge,
More likely to be depressed than angry,
Less likely to be outgoing,
More likely to worry and be doubtful,
Less likely to lead.

Fire and Air signs are "Positive" Signs. They are the opposite of the Water/Earth signs.

I think this is because Earth cannot rise. Water can rise, but at some point is has to come back to earth again (as rain). But Air is always above, and Fire always rises. They all have their virtues and their vices, but in general Fire and Air tend to be more optomistic signs than Earth/Water. Hence the reason Earth/Water is given Yin and Fire/Air is given Yang.

I was born in Yang-Earth-Dragon according to Eastern Astrology.

Dragon represents Luck, Passion, Ambition, and Solitude.

Yang, typically associated with Air and Fire, represents fast, hard, solid, focused, hot, dry, and aggressive; and is associated with fire, sky, the sun, masculinity and daytime.

I never looked up what Earth represents, but I have been called "grounded" before, meaning less ethereal and more reality-based.

Part 3

"The Power of 3". They mention this a lot with things related to "The Secret" as well as notions associated with Wicca. Basically this notion states that whatever you send out spiritually or mentally "into the universe" you will get back times 3.

If you are a negative person who wishes harm on others or spreads doubt and anger and hate and fear... it will come back to through Karma in your ordinary life only three times more powerful. Same goes for spreading and doing good. It's a notion that helps people focus on being positive and mentally protects people because they know if others wish them harm or do harm unto them, worse will be done to the inflicter of harm in the end.

I don't know whether I care about this notion or not. I believe it to be a Truth, based on the fact it is a notion that is sort of repeated in Hinduism and other religions focused more on spirituality and nature. They say it's the natural order of things. Like the symbol of the star, which is a way to concentrate your energy into positivity.

These notions seem solid, but ultimately I don't really worry about them because the concept of Karma itself, The Golden Rule, The Roller Coaster System, and my found purpose as denoted by my sign already cover this basic notion. You can times it by 3 if you like, but the concept still stands regardless.

You lead a messed up life, your life will be messed up.

  1. I was intrigued by this quote when I saw it on twitter...

...If indeed there is no meaning to things, then we wouldn't even have the word "meaning". God built in us a desire to KNOW and EXPLORE the source of things...

    ...and the end is GOD.

"Dragon represents Luck, Passion, Ambition, and Solitude."

--- Let's see...you have passion for art, you have ambition in WFG, you know how to handle solitude (although I won't let you have it too much)...and you're LUCKY TO KNOW ME!!
