Zodiac 9: Theory

I'm working on a theory to establish what the Zodiac signs imply exactly. Questions:

How does someone reincarnate into a sign -luck, fate, or choice?

Is there a way to determine which signs are more progressed (spiritually) than others who are maybe younger souls?

Are some zodiac signs more of a reward v. others that are more of a punishment?

How do the Zodiac sign fit in with the notion of Karma?

What I do know is this: Zodiac signs were developed by God to show us or teach us something. The Zodiac signs were determined by star alignments and earth cycles: All of which God created and connected through Synergy. The thing about Zodiac signs is that each one represents several different virtues and vices. These are things people can learn about themselves or others to improve as people and gain a greater sense or Wholeness.

I've developed a Chart displaying the tendencies each sign has an how they are similar to and different from other signs within their element (water, fire, air, earth). Unfortuantely Excel spreadsheets don't translate well onto blogs so I can only talk about patterns I found without really being able to show them.

Water signs are more quiet and refelective. They're romantic, initially shy, easily hurt, focused on the past, intuitive (good at reading people), emotional, more trusting, appreciative of art (possess good taste), are charming, have a Need to be alone frequently, are patient, caring, and submissive for the most part.
Cancer was the leader of the 3 -prone to worry and seclussion, but also great at reaching out to people and bringing people together.

Air signs are interesting because you can't generalize traits as easily with them because Aquarius is kind of off the radar compared to the other two. The best I can say is they all have little-kid tendencies in different ways. Gemini and Libra are focused on the present, flirtatious, independent, indecisive, Hate being alone, more skeptical, optimistic, energetic, social, secular, realistic, and intellectual. Aquarius on the other hand is more intuitive/ prone to day dreams, more idyllic, more easily hurt, still social and independent like the other two, but more spiritual and focused on the future.
(Because Aquarius is a little harder for people to understand and relate to) Libra is the leader of the 3 because of their magnetic personality, unbias judgement, and natural managerial skills.

Then there are the Earth signs. They're charming, independent, stubborn/stable/grounded/ modest, patient, focused on the present, more secular and less focused on intellect, balanced, focused more on money and business, have natural managing skills, realistic/ practical, traditional, wholesome, pessimistic, and focused on material possessions. They are all Stone compared to Sponge (water signs), which basically means less able to be changed or be influenced by others.
Taurus is the best leader out of the 3 for it's positivity and caring nature.

The Fire signs are very consistent with less variations among them. They are very focused on the present and future, drive to accomplish things, intellectual, confident, natural born leaders, trusting, optimistic, independent, social, Hate being alone, sweet talking, love respect and admiration, more spiritually focused -although they do like luxury and material things, impatient, least emotionally vulnerable, thrive on change, and can overcome great obstacles and tragedies within their own lives. Although it was a close call (sorry Aries), Leo is the best of the 3 and the best of the Zodiacs for it's natrual leadership, trust, compassion, an innate wisdom. This sign would lead the others well.

But what does this mean if you're one of the other signs?  Where does reincarnation and Karma come into play?

I'm developing a theory on this one. I currently believe that:

Air signs are more balanced and better off in general. They're more childlike, adventurous, outgoing, calm, intellectual... They tend to enjoy and embrace life more, but not in a serious way. They have fun and get along well with others. I believe those in the Air signs to be in a "reward zone". They get to experience life, be at ease, not easily hurt, not attached to people or bothered by things (except for stress occasionally). They get more of a free pass. They're pretty much here to amuse people and light up a crowded room.

Earth signs are here to work, maintain tradition, accept established beliefs, focus on money/jobs/ the material world, and lead simple wholesome lives caring for those they befriend and make connections with. I believe this to be a middle ground or a "punishment zone". Yah you're more practical and grounded, but you rarely rise to higher levels of thought and belief. You're not bad people, but you're also not exactly contributing much to human progress. You're too distracted by the stresses of daily life from things that don't really matter like material possessions, house, family, work, money... and you can't really see or grasp the concept of Soul to uplift and improve your life to reach a greater, deeper understanding of yourself and the forces governing this planet.

Fire signs are a "reward zone" because they can easily implement plans and lead people with their innate gifts of wisdom, deep insights, and compassion. They can take a lot of hits with minimal damage, persevering through things most would succumb to. This group rules the pack And has the know how and intellectual/ spiritual guidance to do it.

Water signs? I'm not sure. It kind of seems like a "punishment zone" on some level. To overthink and dream the way they are prone too, but also be at the whim of depression fom time to time because they're emotions run so deep... To be vulnerable and yet blessed with the insight to read other people to see who they really are and understand things on a greater level. To see Truth, but lack Trust in yourself or others. It kind of sucks. It's like torture on some level. Having a pile of wood, smores, and camping gear -but no match to light the fire.

Karma still comes into play through all of this and if someone was immoral or cruel in a past life, they will be dealt an unhappy card in this life like an illness, personal tragedy, pain, or poverty they would have not otherwise experience. The Zodiac signs speak more to their personality/vices/virtues/ability to handle change or tragedy.

So which Signs are ahead of the game in terms of spiritual growth -not just being rewarded in this life for leading a good past life?

The less mature, younger souls who still have a lot of growing up to do: Gemini, Capricorn, Scorpio, Sagittarius.

The in-between, working-my-way-there, signs: Aquarius, Virgo, Pisces, Aries.

The I'm-ahead-of-this-game, What up! signs: Libra, Taurus, Cancer, Leo. Like Yoda, I don't think they were given natural leadership abilities for staring out the window and day dreaming during class time.

Another theory of order more focused in rank is this: 12 Capricorn, 11 Scorpio, 10 Sagittarius, 9 Gemini, 8 Virgo, 7 Aquarius, 6 Pisces, 5 Aries, 4 Cancer, 3 Taurus, 2 Libra, and 1 Leo. (1 Being the most well off/ Prone to Greatness and 12 being the least)

In terms of Age -young soul to old soul- Gemini, Capricorn, Taurus, Libra, Virgo, Leo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Aries, Cancer, Aquarius, Pisces. This may be slightly bias in that I can speak from what I've personally seen and experienced to develop this notion. It seems that the younger signs are those who are focused on the material world more and "enjoying life"- like young people tend to do. Going up to those more grown up are the ones more focused on higher thinking and accomplishments. And the oldest souls are the ones more focused on spirituality and compassion.

For me it's also interesting to see how each "gift" a particular Zodiac has a tendency to have ultimately kind of gives them a place among others in a harmonial sort of way.

The dreamers/ innovators/ creative, idea people: Cancer, Leo, Pisces, Aquarius, Gemini.

The workers/managers/ implementers/ people who get stuff done: Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo, Saggittarius, Libra, Scorpio

The overseers/ CEOs/ Leaders making sure everyone comes together the right way: Leo, Aries, Aquarius.

  1. Only when talking to you will I entertain this way of thinking, because, well, it's cool. If you tell anybody else, I'll deny it. =)

It kinda reminds me of my infatuation with the Greek gods. I don't believe in them, but it's really cool to sit back and pretend I do. It's a very neat fairy tale to me which tickles my imagination, and I love to use my imagination.

For that matter, I've noticed that there are 12 signs, fitting my favorite number 12. But that's besides the point...how much do you like the Greek gods?

I have something that I think you may like to study and post your results: There are 12 Greek gods and 12 zodiac signs. How would you match up the gods to a sign? It's probably been done already, but I've never seen it.

  2. The Greek/Roman gods are matched with the Zodiac signs -but only becuase there are planets named after them. Neptume/ Poseidon rules Pisces, but The Moon rules Cancer.
