Countries...

Rome, Italy. Great Britain. The United States of America. Other countries at various points in time. At one point they were all the leaders the other countries turned to follow. Centers of trade and commerce thriving in cosmopolitan atmospheres where varieties of cultures and people blended beautifully together and flourishing. Then sh*t hit the fan.
Hey got cocky. They were prospering, then they got drunk on wealth and power and started letting things slip further and further away. Then they were losing credibility with their citizens and losing control of the country, they tried to take it back violently at the expense of others- Rome through its Inquisitions, Britain with its reign over India and other countries, and the U.S. with its wars and abuses. They all ended up declining and sinking. And that’s where we are now. We are declining. We will crash hard like all those who came before the U.S. who have fallen of the pedestals they put themselves on. No country is the greatest country for very long.
(I still maintain we’re better off than china though. The female infanticide is coming back t bite them right now. Suicide, homicide, rape, prostitution… it’s a messed up place. Never undervalue the value of human life and all the other forms life can come in).
Countries I am now considering moving to since the U.S. is sinking into the economic grave it dug for itself and doesn’t seemed concerned with the suffering of its own people:
Canada looks nice. I don’t know much about it other than it’s foresty (because that’s where Twilight was filmed) and it produces really funny people (Jim Carrey and Colin Mockery). I think it’s pretty low on crime as well.
Sweden/ Switzerland is another possibility. They’re the same in my opinion. Finland fits in too I guess. Lush forests, random rain, quiet towns, low-to-no drama, no crime…Some girls recently visiting California from Switzerland actually wanted to drive through Oakland because they had never seen a place that dangerous an sketchy. Great. Our state is the shark tank people from other countries come to visit when they want to go thrill seeking.
Costa Rica –it’s a little more dangerous than the other countries I’m considering, but it also has some great perks. 25% of its land I dedicated to national parks. Clean waters, amazing environment scenery and wildlife, high literacy/life expectancy rates… I did a report on Costa Rica last year. Pura Vida!
Australia/ New Zealand looks nice. Leaning more towards NewZeaLand –Australia is hotter and it’s known for its shark attacks. NewZeaLand is known for Flight of the Concords and Lord of the Rings. It’s like they made a special place designated for me. Yes please!
It sucks that I have to consider moving since the U.S. is being stupid. If you’re on the Titanic and it’s starting to sink, do you stay on the boat hoping the leak ill plug itself or do you jump on the nearest life raft and start paddling? I’ll come back eventually. After get wealthy I’ll return and start implementing my Homes of Truth. They’ll be like seeds I plant in the ground that will grow to provide shade and nourishment to a tired and neglected society left in the dust by a self-serving government. I sound like a love child of George Orwell and Robinson Jeffers… Cool. J
